After Vietnam and Thailand, this year I will visit the former Burma, the Golden Land, narrated by Tiziano Terzani, George Orwell, and Rudyard Kipling.
An extraordinary land, populated by more than hundred ethnic groups, scattered with golden pagodas and where life flows slowly. An authentic country that has not yet Been bent to the dictates of Western’s fashion and where the pleasures are simple as watching the sunrise from a temple of the plain of Bagan.
