Travelers this is the last chapter of Vietnam Express and the last article of 2015.Today we bring you to discover the beach towns of Muine and Phan Thiet.

How to get there

Train: Saigon station located at 01, Nguyen Thong street, District 3, Ho Chi Minh city. Binh Thuan (Muong Man) station located at Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province.
The railway from Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) station to Mui Ne (Binh Thuan station) is about 200 Kilometers, You have to stop at Binh Thuan station (Before called Muong Man station), then take the taxi to Mui Ne. It’s about 40 Km from Binh Thuan station to Mui Ne. There are 4 trains including SE6, SE8 and SE22 (which belong to Reunification Express train) on this route. They depart every day and lost about 4 hours (From Saigon to Binh Thuan station or return). The types of seats include the hard seat and the soft seat. If you depart in morning, you should take SPT2 train from Saigon to Phan Thiet. Phan Thiet station belong to Center of Phan Thiet city and This station is closer Mui Ne than Binh Thuan station. It’s about 20 Km from Phan Thiet station to Mui Ne.

Bus: There are several private bus companies that daily connect the city of Ho Chi Minh to Phan Thiet. The price varies from 10 to 18 dollars. It costs slightly less than the train, but the trip takes 5 hours. The advantage is that the bus leaves from the center of Ho Chi Minh, in the way of tourist agencies and leaves you in front of your hotel.

Hotel

The luxury resort “Poshanu” is built on a huge slab of stone adjacent to the most beautiful spot of Mui Ne beach. With a vision of “bringing Cham culture to the sea”, the resort was designed as a modern Cham village consisting of 26 luxury rooms of Cham styles. The room interiors are equipped with modern standard of 4-star hotels. Its open design architecture gives visitors an ultimate sense of closeness to nature. Our guests will enjoy extensive space, ocean view and relaxation. I recommend it to all travelers looking for a relaxing and peaceful environment. Try all kinds of massage offered by the hotel spa.

Time ago Mui Ne and Phan Thiet were small fishing villages that looked out on a long beach of golden sand. Today are popular tourist sites.

Golf: front Poshanu Resort is located the Sealinks Golf and Country Club (1,350,000 dong for 18 holes). This golf course from 7,671 yards (about 7 km) is considered one of the most challenging in the country because it is rich of water hazards. For those who want to play in small try the Tropical Minigolf Mui Ne: the field is not in the best conditions but it’s okay to spend a few hours doing something different.

What to see Mui Ne and Phan Thiet. Sand Dunes

Mui Ne is famous for its great white and red sand dunes. The most impressive are those of white sand because are always shaped by the wind and resemble those of the Sahara desert. You can explore them on board quads, dune buggies or on the back of an ostrich (100,000 dong).

Ta Cu mountain and Cham Towers Po Shanu: many hotels offer a day trip to Mount Ta Cu where is the largest statue of the reclining Buddha in Vietnam (49 meters long), and the archaeological site of the Cham towers, on a hill near Phan Thiet, which preserves three ancient towers that date back to the ninth century.
